<h3>Job Description</h3><br /><p><br /></p><p><strong>NH-0801-04 (GS14/15 Equivalent)</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>Serves as the System Safety Engineer for the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO) responsible for developing and providing system and space safety policy &amp; guidance. Interprets National, DoD, DAF, and USSF regulatory criteria to ensure the safe acquisition and execution of all SpRCO programs. Serves as the principal SpRCO Space System Safety Engineer providing technical advice to the Chief of Safety and other senior leaders on issues including, but not limited to, orbital debris mitigation, mishap investigations and adherence to national and international space policies in relation to Space and Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems.
