River Mill is looking to recruit two highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream classroom.

  • This is a Fixed term position until 26th August 2027

  • 31.25 hours per week – 30 minutes for lunch, 38 weeks per year (term-time only)

  • 8.30 am - 3.15 pm Monday – Friday

  • Pay Scale – Kent KSC £25,252 FTE - £17,900 actual salary

    • We expect the successful candidate to be:

  • Dedicated and enthusiastic and someone who is motivated to provide positive learning experiences and outcomes for all pupils.

  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour as well as inspire and motivate pupils across the school

  • To be able to communicate well with pupils, parents, carers and all members of staff across the school

  • Have lots of enthusiasm, understanding and patience for working with children.
