Requirements

• Demonstrable levels of numeracy & literacy equivalent to GCSE (A-C) or NVQ Level 2 (or by test).
• Effective computing skills for both teaching and management.
• Relevant work experience in a similar background within a Primary/Secondary setting.
• Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities.
• The ability to maintain and develop a ‘culture of vigilance’ with regard to safeguarding and child protection.
• To build positive relationships with both student and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Motivating, engaging and encouraging pupils as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to pupils’ needs.
