Teaching Assistant - Mornings Only

We’re looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil at a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Downend. It’s mornings only , giving you the chance to make a real impact and still have your afternoons free.

What your mornings will look like

You’ll be the go-to person for one child who needs that extra bit of support to settle, engage and enjoy their learning.

Think:

• Providing 1:1 support in the classroom
• Helping with focus, routines and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher to keep things consistent
• Celebrating the small wins that make a big difference

This is a school where relationships matter. Staff know their pupils well, and support staff are a big part of that story.

What we’re looking for

You’re calm, patient and know how to meet children where they are, not where a timetable says they should be.
