Technical Supervisor

Responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance and inspection activities on an assigned rig. He or she must implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements, and manage maintenance priorities with overall rig operation priorities to maximize rig efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning of all maintenance activities for the rig with the Drilling Superintendent, Rig Manager and other rig personnel to use maintenance time efficiently.
• Advise others of modifications, changes to procedures and/or frequencies to improve the Noble Maintenance System and keep it compliant with the Management of Change System (MOC).
• Ensure all incomplete repairs and projects are finished within scheduled time to keep backlog minimal.
• Input and cost control measures to keep annual maintenance costs within the rig budget.
