Technical Support

As a Technical Support, you will ensure Baker Hughes Drilling Services has proper tracking, management and improvement of performance in performance-based contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the assigned support area.
  • Providing technical support to the field via online, phone, and technical papers.
  • Submitting best practices, case histories, and lessons learned to the knowledge management database.
  • Following up on field failures that require technology involvement and sharing the learning across the field.
  • Raising alerts to the Service Delivery organization when unfamiliar technical issues arise on a job.
  • Coaching the wellsite field population.
