Job Description
A Technical Writer contributes to technical support documentation, and instruction manuals, reducing synthesizing material into concise language for users and customers to fully understand; delegates tasks to other writers and editors or corrects copy; studies user feedback for improvement opportunities; and revises and rewrites existing content, editing and punching up old copy to match new standards or guidelines. They would proofread and ensure a grammar-error-free document before handing it over to the requestor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Education, Journalism, Information Technology or any Business related courses
- With at least 3-5 years of experience in any technical writer field.
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proven experience in using project management tools such as Jira, Draw. io, Microsoft applications, and Google Workspace
