Join Telesat as an Export Compliance Specialist to drive compliance efforts in a global satellite operator. This position is key to managing export documentation and regulatory adherence.
As part of your role, you will support the Senior Manager in ensuring all aspects of export activities meet the Canadian Export and Import Permits Act and U.S. regulations. You’ll handle export permit applications, address stakeholder inquiries, and maintain essential compliance records. Strong analytical skills will be pivotal to navigating complex export scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage export permit applications
• Liaise with internal and external partners for exports
• Approve export documentation and ensure compliance
• Submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies
• Update security plans in collaboration with specialists
