Overview

Temporary Works Engineer position with VINCI Construction Grands Projets Canada, focused on refurbishment projects at Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. This role requires a blend of team collaboration and technical expertise, working with the Temporary Works Coordinator to ensure compliance and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Verify compliance of temporary works designs
  • Liaise with designers to clarify specifications
  • Lead construction inspections for adherence to designs
  • Present technical briefings to site management
  • Monitor site conditions against project parameters

Qualifications

  • Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree
  • 3–10 years in civil construction with a focus on temporary works
  • Must hold Ontario Skilled Engineer title
  • Relevant health and safety qualifications
