Test Development Engineer

**Major Job Responsibilities**:- Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests (electrical)- Develop statement of work (SOW) for test and programming processes/equipment- Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with/in the PML for the assigned project- Enforce proper requirements management for the assigned test process- Facilitate test coverage analysis process, ensuring adequate test coverage for the assigned test process, request design changes in case test coverage issues in early design phase- Utilize 6-Sigma for Test Statistical Analysis Methods to optimize CPK performance of parametric electrical tests- Track needed test equipment/tools, ensure availability of needed material for all equipment/tool development- Perform test equipment buy-off at suppliers, drive capability studies, strain measurement, create list of key parameters to be transferred to quality plan- Work out proper documentation of the assigned test process, respect the APTIV processes and procedures ...
