Job Title – Test Engineer/Technologist

Department – Engineering

Reports to – Test Facility Manager

Job Summary

The Test Engineer/Technologist is responsible to work closely with the Test Facility Manager and the engineering team to support the development of new and existing down hole tools. They will be required to design, develop, test, install and/or operate equipment and systems. They will assemble and test prototypes, conduct applied research and compile and analyze data, and prepare necessary reports.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Execute tests to verify prototype bottom hole assembles and well construction components with clear direction
• Build simple assemblies and test parts to verify they meet the design criteria
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure they conform to manufacturing drawings
• Continual maintenance of test lab equipment with some supervision
