Valve Technician

• Read and interpret shop work instructions and shop procedures.
• Disassemble/ Assemble valves and route to other production areas as required work instructions.
• Identify components necessary for reassembly and submit material requests to inventory control.
• Fit and reassemble valves after completion of other production and quality control processes.
• Cross trained in other areas as needed.
• Significant overtime and weekend work required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to stand, crouch, bend for 8 hour shifts
• Able to work in a high production environment
• Must be able lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Crane and Rigging Experience an asset
• Forklift (sit down and reach) experience
