Responsibilities:

  • Receives orders via mail, phone or other electronic means from the customers.
  • Duties include informing customers of receipt, shipment details, planning and handling concerns.
  • Processing the orders including recordings and documentations.
  • Communicate with the customers to confirm orders and ensure that customer requests are met accurately and in time for delivery or pick up.
  • Retrieve the items needed from the inventory, check that they are in good condition, wrap them securely and pack them for shipping.
  • Packing stock in a neatly organized and secure manner.
  • Do crating if needed.
  • Mark stock items with identifying product description or code.
  • Affix labels to the cargo per product and destination.
  • Ensure to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workplace.
