Water Resources Engineer

Position Overview

Intermediate Water Resources Engineer based in Kelowna, BC, within the Municipal Engineering team. You will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater, drainage, hydrotechnical, and municipal water systems for resilient, climate‑ready communities across the Okanagan and Southern Interior.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver stormwater management, drainage, and hydrotechnical solutions for municipal infrastructure projects in both developing and established communities.
• Lead and contribute to preliminary, detailed, and tender‑ready engineering designs that move projects efficiently from concept through construction.
• Prepare, review, and validate engineering calculations, technical assessments, and design criteria to support sound decision‑making.
• Build, run, and refine hydrologic and hydraulic models to assess system performance, climate resilience, and long‑term capacity needs. <...
