Welder

A reputable construction company in Alta is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis. We offer a competitive salary of $1,200 per week for this position with the potential for overtime pay.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and materials needed for projects.
• Cut shape and weld metal components using various tools such as welding torches, plasma cutters and grinders.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with welded components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing setting.
• Excellent knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
