Job Description
We are looking for a WELDER to join our 3rd shift team (+ $3/hour shift differential) at our Abingdon, VA plant. As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to Americas essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding. Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material. Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc. Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout. Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
