Job Summary

Workshop Engineer Location: Weymouth Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain engines and associated equipment
  • Diagnose faults on diesel engines and associated electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance such as regular engine servicing as per manufacturers maintenance schedules
  • Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment
  • Carry out Pre‑Delivery Tests & Inspections to the highest standard
  • Identify and plan works in a methodical manner to meet equipment dispatch targets
  • Ensure a pro‑active health and safety culture is adhered to and maintained

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ability to drive
  • A relevant qualification in the Mechanical or Electrical field or relevant experience
