About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced workshop manager who holds a trade qualified Certificate 3 in Heavy Diesel Mechanics. This permanent full-time position will be based out of our Malaga, WA depot.


The purpose of this role is to oversee the full operations of the workshop including profit and loss performance, team leadership, infrastructure and all Select assets. It essentially ensures the delivery of high-quality service to customers in the region.



Key responsibilities

  • Use workforce planning and forecasting tools to identify and secure a skilled labour pool to meet current and future project needs.

  • Leading daily workshop pre-start meetings.

  • Drive continuous improvement of the fleet and workshop infrastructure, recommending upgrades and identifying opportunities to expand services and secure new work.
