Position Overview The Import & Export Assistant supports the Global Product Development Team by managing import/export documentation, coordinating shipments, maintaining vendor relationships, and conducting product research. This role contributes directly to the smooth flow of international trade operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and supporting new product sourcing initiatives. Requirements Key Responsibilities Import/Export Coordination: Manage and track international shipments to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency. Logistics & Customs Compliance: Oversee customs documentation, HS code verification, and FDA import/export requirements. Vendor & Manufacturer Management: Communicate with overseas partners (e.g., Philippines, Thailand) to ensure product and documentation accuracy. Data & Document Management: Register vendor/product data, prepare purchase/sales orders and invoices in QuickBooks, and maintain export/import contracts. Product Research & Market Analysis: Conduct competitor and trend analysis to support product development and pricing strategies. Sample & Feedback Coordination: Organize internal product tastings and collect employee feedback for evaluation. Process Improvement: Analyze logistics, customs, and purchasing operations to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities. Qualifications Bachelors degree. 12 years of experience in import/export or supply-chain operations Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting/ERP software preferred. Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills. Bilingual in Korean and English required.
