This role is all about consistency and calm. You’ll be supporting a secondary-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them regulate emotions, manage behaviour, and stay engaged with learning. The pupil presents with SEMH needs and benefits from clear routines, patient support, and a trusted adult who doesn’t give up on tough days.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to follow behaviour plans and keep the day predictable and safe.
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom
