Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for a 1st Shift Buffing Operator for our client in Owego, NY. The 1st Shift Buffing Operator will buff, polish, and smooth metal parts to achieve a high-quality finish.ResponsibilitiesBuff, polish, and smooth metal parts to achieve a high-quality, customer-ready finish. Inspect finished pieces for scratches, imperfections, or surface defects. Operate and maintain buffing and polishing tools and equipment safely. Handle metal parts weighing up to 50 lbs. Rotate workstations and tasks to maintain efficiency and avoid repetitive strain. Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met. Additional duties as assigned.
