Position Summary

This recruitment will be used to fill a part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week during academic terms and a maximum of 40 hours per week during academic breaks) Student Technical OPEnS Lab pool positions for the Department of Biological & Ecological Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU).The OPEnS Lab seeks undergraduate students to work in a hands-on technologyrich makerspace to produce next generation sensing technologies for environmental research. Join a team from a range of majors including Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Ecological, Applied Physics, and CBEE. OPEnS staff will use 3D printers, microcontrollers, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to conduct technical research and development to produce and test new instrumentation.
