The successful candidate will join the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) as part of a multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision and clinical practice. The position is focused on the core development of AI-based systems for surgical instrument recognition, with a strong emphasis on software development, model training and system optimization in real hospital environments. The role involves direct responsibility for the design, development and implementation of computer vision and machine learning algorithms, contributing to the evolution of advanced AI solutions deployed in central sterilization units and operating rooms.
