2026 U20 Assistant Coaches

Ultimate Canada is honoured to announce the assistant coaches for the 2026 World U20 Championships taking place June 20-27, 2026, in Logroño, Spain.

Ywan Cohonner started playing in 2017 with the Montreal Titane junior program. The following year, he joined Team Canada U20, then Team Canada U24 in 2023. That same year, Ywan also represented the country in Beach Ultimate. Since 2021, he has been with Royal de Montréal in UFA and plays with Mephisto, with whom he participated in the World Club Championship in 2022. Alongside his playing career, Ywan has been coaching since 2018. He started with his high school and then slowly transitioned to the Titane open program, which he coached in 2022 and 2024 as an assistant coach, and this year, Ywan is the Titane Women's head coach. This year, Ywan was also the head coach of Team Canada U20 East, which participated in PAYUC.
