The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for a regular full-time Environmental Coordinator II to join our team of professionals in the Community Development Division, Development Planning Department. Reporting to the Manager, Development Planning, in this unionized position you will be a key member of the development application review team using your specialized knowledge of primarily watercourse requirements, but also endangered species, invasive species and contaminated sites requirements to advance developments that meet environmental regulations. Your work will be undertaken in collaboration and consultation with public and private sector qualified environmental professionals, landscape architects, engineers, and professional planners. You will also provide guidance to other departments and the public related to watercourse requirements.
