2D Animator

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Animator to bring characters, environments, and stories to life through engaging animations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of motion, timing, and storytelling, and can collaborate effectively with artists, designers, and directors.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations for videos, games, advertisements, or digital media
• Develop character animations, effects, and motion graphics based on storyboards and scripts
• Collaborate with illustrators, designers, and creative teams to ensure visual consistency
• Revise animations based on feedback while meeting deadlines
• Maintain organized project files and follow production pipelines
• Ensure animations align with brand style and creative direction

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator or similar role
• Proficiency in 2D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, After Effects)
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch, etc.)
• Ability to translate concepts and scripts into compelling animations
• Attention to detail and strong time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with character rigging and lip-sync animation
• Basic knowledge of illustration or character design
• Familiarity with video editing or sound synchronization
• Portfolio demonstrating 2D animation work
