SMV Recruiting is actively looking for a 2nd shift Electrical Control Tech (electrically focused) in Concord, NC. Our client is looking for candidates with at leas t5+ years of electrical maintenance experience and 3+ years in a manufacturing setting. Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, piping, pumps, chilled water systems, and troubleshooting electrical controls is strongly preferred. This is a direct hire role and offers great benefits, overtime, healthcare, vacation and a healthy 401K. Responsibilities:

  • Install, rig, troubleshoot, and repair all production machinery, tools, equipment, and provide light facilities support


  • Perform electrical repairs on production machines and troubleshoot PLCs (depending on experience)


  • Rewire circuits using ladder diagrams without documentation (to qualify as an ECT)

  • Maintenance on pneumatic and hydraulic components
