Summary
Operates automatic screw machines to produce quick-connect bodies at a determined production rate while maintaining quality.
Essential Functions
Maintains a clean and safe work area. Operates/manages multiple automatic screw machines. Complete in-process inspections using gages provided and following control plan. Follows “3-Container System” procedure to ensure parts are conforming to print. Document appropriate information on downtime sheets and in grind log. Maintains production goals. Communicate from shift to shift on machine conditions. Notifies Production Supervisor of any defective condition or non-conformities. Make tool changes and proper tool adjustments.
