Job Description
+ Additional $$ given based on previous experience and education!
+ +$3/hr for 2nd and 3rd shift
+ +$3/hr on weekends
Availability - 2nd shift (3:30pm-4pm until 1am-2am)
This position requires team members to efficiently move trailers around the facility to help prepare freight that is being transported to Menard, Inc. stores.

+ Additional yard horse pay after initial training is completed
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility
+ Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
+ Open and close swinging trailer doors.
+ Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers
+ Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations
+ Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers
+ Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers
+ Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation
+ Basic mechanical skills.
Skills/Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must possess a good driving record
+ Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn
+ CDL license preferred but not required
+ Enjoy working outdoors
+ Proof of valid driver’s license
