This role provides advanced operational support, maintenance, and development of a Secure MOD Platform. The position involves working across a complex technical estate to ensure availability, stability, and capability enhancement of core infrastructure and services. The role is primarily based on-site at MOD Corsham.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support and engineering expertise for incident, problem, and change management across production and non-production environments, including out-of-hours escalation as required.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server platforms (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, clustering) in large-scale virtualised environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of complex platform issues.
