3rd Officer

Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on our LPG/Ethylene tanker fleet trading worldwide. You will work in an international crew, support safe cargo and navigation operations, and build solid experience for your deck officer career.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping and bridge duties
• Support cargo operations for LPG/Ethylene, including monitoring and safety checks
• Carry out shipboard safety rounds and routine inspections
• Assist with maintenance of deck equipment and lifesaving appliances
• Follow company procedures, safety rules and environmental regulations
• Participate in drills, trainings and emergency response
• Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license meeting STCW requirements
• Relevant tanker certificates (incl. LPG/Ethylene preferred)
• Recent experience on tankers is an advantage
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety courses
