Full View Fabricator -- Amarr - Shawnee, KS

Are you looking for a new challenge in manufacturing production? Maybe our position as a full view fabricator is for you!

A full view fabricator is responsible for assembling and packaging full view door sections.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Responsible for determining daily production requirements.
  • Responsible for selecting correct materials and having adequate supplies to meet requirements.
  • Responsible for cutting and drilling full view rails.
  • Responsible for cutting glass to size and attaching weather stripping.
  • Responsible for assembling and packaging full view sections.
  • Assist Insulation Assemblers as required.
  • Responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on machines and tools.
  • Must be able to plan ahead, requires having material brought to department in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized
  • Any other duties as required
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
  • Ability to safely operate saws and drills
  • Ability to use measuring devices, such as tapes, templates and guides

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standing/Walking required throughout the entire shift
  • Walking distance of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis during the shift, depending upon the position assigned
  • Manual dexterity: Grip small objects to cut rubber and maneuver hands/wrists in repetitive motion consistently
  • Must be able safely work with another team member to carry or lift door panels or push and pull carts in excess of forty- five pounds.
