3rd Year Apprentice Pipefitter

Overview

Position Summary Apprenticeship role for Pipefitters involved in laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Employees are expected to support and participate in a “culture of safety” and adhere to and be ambassadors of Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, treating others with dignity, respect, and fairness.

Project Details

• Site is at the Cenovus Christina Lake North plant
• 8/6 rotation
• $300/shift travel allowance
• Camp accommodations provided

Core Accountabilities

• Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.)
• Assist journeyperson pipefitters with the installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel on site
