4th Class Power Engineer

This position performs duties requiring a 4th Class Power Engineer certificate, including the operation and monitoring of boilers, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC) and building management systems (BMS), in accordance with the standards required by the Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA and Covenant Health (COV. This position is also required to perform a wide variety of general maintenance and repair duties which contribute to safe and efficient facility operations. This includes plumbing, electrical,structural repairs, equipment servicing, etc.

Description:

The Power Engineer 4th Class is responsible for assisting with monitoring, repairs and maintenance of plant operations in accordance with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA) standards and practices. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 408 St. Michael's Collective Agreement.
