Job Title

Shopify Administrator (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Full-Time Shopify Administrator to manage the day-to-day backend operations of multiple client Shopify stores. This role is critical to ensuring each store is technically sound, accurately maintained, and ready to support high-performing marketing and promotional activity.

You will work primarily in the Shopify backend, owning catalog accuracy, promotions setup, app administration, and light theme updates. This is an execution-focused role requiring precision, independence, and strong operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Catalog & Inventory Management

• Manage product listings, variants, collections, and inventory accuracy across multiple Shopify and Shopify Plus stores
• Ensure product data, pricing, and availability are consistently accurate and up to date

Store Operations & Promotions

• Set up, test, and deploy discount codes, automatic promotions, bundles, and tiered pricing
• Support marketing campaigns by ensuring all promotions are correctly configured and QA’d before launch

Technical Maintenance

• Monitor stores for site errors, broken links, or checkout issues
• Identify and resolve common technical or app-related issues to ensure a seamless customer journey

App Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Shopify apps (e.g. subscriptions, loyalty, reviews)
• Troubleshoot app conflicts and coordinate updates as needed

Theme & Site Updates

• Implement minor site updates using the Shopify Theme Editor
• Publish new theme versions and ensure updates do not disrupt live store functionality

Requirements

• Proven experience managing the Shopify or Shopify Plus backend

• High attention to detail, especially in product data and promotion setup
• Ability to troubleshoot common Shopify, app, and checkout issues independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks across multiple client accounts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment

Preferred Skills

• Basic HTML/CSS for minor front-end adjustments
• Experience with Shopify page builders (e.g. PageFly, Gempages )
• Familiarity with the Shopify app ecosystem, including tools such as Recharge, Klaviyo, Loyalty & Reviews apps

What Success Looks Like

• Stores are consistently accurate, stable, and promotion-ready
• Marketing launches execute without errors or last-minute fixes
• Technical issues are proactively identified and resolved
• Clients experience smooth, reliable store operations
