The following temporary position is open for applications:GROUNDSPERSON CUPE Competition No. 6156Location: Squamish Area Temporary: Immediately to June 26, 2026, or return of the Incumbent, whichever occurs firstHours: 8 hours per day, 12 months per yearRate of Pay: $28.84 per hourDuties & Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Manager: Transportation & Grounds and with the general direction of the Director of Facilities & Services, maintains safe, clean and presentable playing fields, lawns, School District property, playground equipment and fences.Qualifications:Completion of Grade 11 and over three (3) months up to and including six (6) months related grounds keeping experience.Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with air endorsement.Pesticide Applicator's Certificate.Working knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems.Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials information Systems (WHMIS) and Worksafe BC (WSBC) safety procedures.
