7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple 7.5-tonne drivers to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 am start  Pay Rate: £15.07 per hour, Location: Preston. PR2  Job Type: Temp to perm
The role:

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne delivery vehicle to make scheduled deliveries and collections for customers.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to complete around 10 drops/collections per day, considering traffic, road conditions, and time constraints.
• Assist with loading and unloading packages onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers during deliveries and collections.
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
• Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation for each delivery and collection accurately and promptly.
