A4 Building inspector

This can be either a full-time or part time role for an A4 Building Inspector based on-site in Fyshwick. The A4 Building Inspector will be responsible for performing building and site inspections in compliance with regulatory standards, enforcing building codes, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Additionally, they will document inspection findings, communicate with stakeholders, and provide expertise on building practices and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in plan reading in order to conduct site inspections, including the ability to assess structures for safety and compliance
• Experience and understanding of the NCC and relevant Australian standards and the desire to extend their knowledge with additional on and off-site training
