ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician

Job Description Job Description Summit Behavioral Solutions provides early intervention to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are a data-drive, client-focused team that provides in-home, clinic, and school-based services in the Greater Puyallup area. MUST HAVE A VALID CBT (CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN) CERTIFICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavior Analyst Review data and progress reports with the Behavior Analyst in order to strategize program improvements Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner Assists in the creation of instructional materials Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary Attends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetings Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities Clear criminal background check Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalence Previous experience in Autism or other related fields Must already have CBT and or RBT certificate Experience in conflict/crisis resolution Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid Driver License and proof of insurance Reliable transportation Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: Starting at $21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Drive time Paid Training Certification reimbursement Medical specialties: Home Health Pediatrics Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Puyallup, WA 98373: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Certified Behavior Technician (Required) Registered Behavior Technician (Preferred) Work Location: Varies Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $21 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Company Description Summit Behavioral Solutions is a person centered, ABA therapy provider.
