Job Description
Role: Ab Initio Data Engineer Type: Full time – Perm or Contract Location: Sydney, AU Status: Valid AU visa holders (open to visa sponsor)
Skills: Ab Initio, Continuous flow / batch, SQL, Shell Scripting, Performance Tuning, Agile Experience: 4+ years
Requisites:
Hands-on experience in building Ab Initio graphs/plans (Continuous Flows, Batch, or both).
Proven experience in Ab Initio graph performance improvement.
Knowledge of source control and code promotion techniques in Ab Initio.
Strong SQL skills (any RDBMS) with basic shell scripting knowledge. Understanding of database concepts and fundamental computing/network principles.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-have):
Experience with Realtime applications and API-driven development.
Strong knowledge/experience in Continuous Flows.
Exposure to cloud-hosted Ab Initio solutions.
