The DevOps Engineer / Release Manager will be responsible for managing repositories, enforcing versioning guidelines, and overseeing release management activities for a development team working on a new app project.
The project involves high-performance microservices and an event-driven architecture.
The engineer's focus will be on product quality, rapid feature integration, and stability of previously released features.
Required knowledge and experience:
Version Control and Repository Management:
Proficiency in Git and Git workflows (e.g., Gitflow, GitHub Flow).
Experience with Git repository management tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
Ability to enforce versioning guidelines and best practices.
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Mastery of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
