ACA - Base Engineer (YHU)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Base and International Maintenance, the Base Engineer, YHU will work in support of Porter’s fleet in a line maintenance environment. Duties & Responsibilities Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, approved manuals and established procedures Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems Install or modify aircraft engines, mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair and cleaning, and reassemble Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Order and manage local inventory of parts, tooling, and supplies Maintain GSE Act as liaison between key company departments and external vendors Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting haz...
