The Point72 Academy is the firm’s training program for long/short equities financial analysts. Designed for

undergraduates and early-career professionals, this immersive curriculum combines advanced modeling,

critical thinking, and sector-specific research skills — preparing our analysts for an accelerated career

trajectory at Point72.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


You will act as an essential link between the firm’s recruiting team, candidates, and partners across Asia

— with a strong focus on Japan — helping us develop a diverse, cross-cultural pipeline of future investing

talent. You will support the team with administrative and recruiting coordination, ensuring a high-quality

candidate experience, and collaborating on strategies to build a world-class talent pipeline for the Point72

Academy across the region. Specifically, you will:

  • Liaise with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates across Asia to schedule interviews, manage travel, and coordinate communications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking systems — including resumes, interview notes, and status updates (in Japanese and English)
  • Prepare recruiting reports and updates for hiring managers, including metrics and insights from Asia-region hiring activities
  • Attend team meetings, take detailed notes, and manage follow-up action items
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for recruiters and candidates, including Japan and Asia recruiting events
  • Support on-campus, virtual, and networking recruiting initiatives across the region
  • Collaborate with the Academy Recruiting team on strategies to grow our talent pipeline in multiple
  • Asia markets while ensuring cultural and language sensitivity
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants throughout the recruiting process
  • Facilitate coaching sessions and events for the Academy and Investment Professional
  • Development teams, supporting collaborative efforts on Academy initiatives

  • WHAT’S REQUIRED


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Spoken and written fluency in Japanese and English
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help you work across different cultures and time zones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Willingness to travel within Asia for recruiting events, particularly Japan
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
