Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth financial processes under the supervision of the accountant or finance manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Help in VAT filing and compliance (UAE VAT).
- Prepare basic financial reports as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
