The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a commercially astute Account Director to join our Wholesale Sales team at 5G Networks.
You will manage a portfolio of key Wholesale customers, acting as the primary relationship manager and trusted commercial partner. Your focus will be on account strategy, contract renewals, and revenue growth, working closely with internal product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality telecommunications solutions.
What You'll Do - Manage and grow a portfolio of key Wholesale customer accounts
- Develop and execute account strategy plans to drive retention and growth
- Own all commercial aspects of assigned accounts, including renewals and negotiations
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Manage the end‑to‑end sales process from opportunity through to contract execution
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver tailored commercial solutions
- Identify new opportunities to increase customer engagement with the 5GN brand
- Maintain a strong understanding of Wholesale services including IP Transit, Dark Fibre, Layer 1–3 services, and Data Centre solutions
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in Sales or Account Management, ideally within Wholesale or Telecommunications
- Proven track record in managing and growing customer accounts
- Experience selling IP Transit, rack space and/or data centre solutions
- International sales experience (APAC and/or US) highly regarded
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results‑driven, customer‑focused, and proactive
