We are seeking an exceptional Account Director to lead, coach, and empower our client service delivery team in Melbourne. In this senior leadership role, you will own the strategic and operational delivery of services across all supplied service lines, driving excellence in client outcomes, commercial performance, and team capability. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Portfolio Management, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of property service delivery for one of Australia’s most reputable and influential brands.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Build and lead strong client relationships, serving as the key escalation point.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver portfolio strategies, initiatives, and service improvements.

Account & Service Delivery Management

  • Oversee governance, compliance, reporting, and contract obligations.

  • Ensure exceptional service delivery aligned with client vision and values.

  • Drive seamless collaboration across service lines, fostering a “One Team” culture.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Lead corporate and client budgeting processes.

  • Monitor P&L performance, financial reporting, and optimisation of operational spend.

  • Identify additional service and revenue opportunities.

People Leadership

  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team.

  • Lead recruitment, retention, performance, and succession planning.

Innovation & Growth

  • Introduce new systems, processes, and enhancements.

  • Champion opportunities to expand service offerings and enhance client value.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned property services leader with the presence, expertise, and commercial acumen to operate at a senior level.

Must‑Haves

  • 10–15 years’ experience in property services, account management, or related leadership roles.

  • Strong transaction/leasing experience, ideally across retail or large‑format goods portfolios.

  • Proven capability managing complex stakeholder relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams.

  • Highly developed communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Expertise in at least one key service delivery discipline (e.g., FM, leasing, asset/portfolio management).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Property, Economics, or Business Management.

  • Strong financial acumen and risk management capability.

  • Systems, technology, and data management proficiency.
