・セラミック担体、微粒子フィルタの工程能力を示し自動車メーカーおよび触媒メーカーから承認取得。
・顧客の問題を分析し、顧客のニーズを満たすシステム設計のサポート。
・製品・技術提案。
・セラミック担体、微粒子フィルタの品質問題対応（品質問題の原因分析と対応策を提示する） 【担当商材】
・自動車排ガス浄化用セラミックハニカム担体 【必須要件】
・社会人経験5年以上
・技術関連業務3年以上
・日本語：ネイティブレベル、英語：ビジネスレベル以上（目安：TOEIC600点以上）
・理系（材料工学、機械工学、化学工学）学士以上 【歓迎条件】
・自動車業界（完成車および部品メーカー）

Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.

Job Description of the position:

At Corning, we manufacture world-class ceramic substrates and particulate filters for exhaust gas purification systems, ranging from small passenger vehicles to large trucks and construction machinery. These systems deliver stable, reliable, and durable performance under demanding conditions. With a global network of service, engineering, and manufacturing facilities, Corning provides high-quality products, market insights, and dependable supply chains to help customers meet environmental regulations effectively.

For this position, we are seeking someone who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and proactively work on problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities:

Obtain technical approvals and specifications for ceramic substrates and particulate filters from automotive manufacturers.

Demonstrate process capability for ceramic substrates and particulate filters and obtain approvals from automotive manufacturers and catalyst manufacturers.

Analyze customer issues and support system design to meet customer needs.

Provide product and technical proposals.

Address quality issues related to ceramic substrates and particulate filters (analyze the root cause of quality problems and present countermeasures).

Products:

Ceramic honeycomb substrates for automotive exhaust gas purification.

Required Qualifications:

At least 5 years of professional experience.

At least 3 years of experience in technical roles.

Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 600 or above preferred).

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science-related field (e.g., materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the automotive industry (OEMs and auto parts manufacturers).
