(A) JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive – New Business will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition: identifying and engaging new prospects, building pipeline, articulating the value of location-intelligence Saa S solutions, negotiating and closing deals. Your success will be measured by Qo Q new business revenue attainment, pipeline growth, and sales cycle effectiveness.
(B) JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Prospect, engage and qualify new business leads (Self gen & inbound) for Smart Market, Lepton’s location
- intelligence Saa S solution across targeted verticals and geography.
- Manage entire sales cycle: lead generation → discovery & needs-analysis → solution
- presentation/demonstration → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Develop and articulate compelling business cases & ROI for location intelligence solutions (mapping, analytics, expansion-planning, network-planning, etc) within target industries (Digital Natives, Mobility, retail/FMCG, telco, logistics, BFSI, auto).
- Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and forecast accuracy using CRM tools and sales dashboards.
- Develop business opportunities through inside sales, marketing leads, social outreach, events, and referrals.
- Work closely with presales, product, delivery, and customer success teams to ensure high-quality onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Keep updated on market trends, competitive landscape, emerging use‐cases and buyer needs in location-intelligence / geospatial analytics domain.
- Provide feedback to marketing/product regarding market opportunities, positioning gaps.
- Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and ROI/value proposition pitches
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in prospective organizations (senior management, decision-makers) and nurture long‐term trust, credibility and referrals.
(C) TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL-SET & QUALIFICATION
- 5 + years of experience in enterprise software / Saa S / IT solution sales with a strong track record of new customer acquisition.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; MBA preferred / required (Sales, Marketing, IT, Business Management or related field).
- Strong history of Quarterly quota achievement
- Proven ability to generate pipeline independently through hunting, cold outreach, and networking.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
- Understanding of software / technology value selling; exposure to analytics, GIS, location intelligence, Saa S, or data solutions is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in forecasting, CRM usage, and sales reporting.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Startup experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and industry events.
