Job Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts 

Location: Kolkata 

Experience: 5 to 10 Years 

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com (Accounts/Finance specialization preferred) 

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 (Net Take Home per Month)

Age Criteria: 25 to 32 Years

Key Responsibilities:

 Maintain and update daily accounting records using Tally ERP.

 Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and MIS reports.

 Manage invoicing, payments, accounts receivables, and accounts payables.

 Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, TDS returns, and other statutory

compliances.

 Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

 Coordinate with internal departments to identify and reconcile accounting

discrepancies.

 Support both internal and external audits with appropriate documentation.

 Ensure timely and systematic bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.

 Maintain comprehensive documentation and support the improvement of financial

processes.

 Communicate effectively with clients and vendors on financial matters.

 Uphold data accuracy, financial integrity, and confidentiality at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies:

 Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP,

etc.)

 Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and applicable Indian accounting standards.

 Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

 Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

 Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 High level of attention to detail and organizational capability.

 Basic understanding of audit procedures is preferred.

Candidate Profile:

 Educational Background: B.Com / M.Com (Accounts or Finance specialization

preferred)

 Work Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance

 Age Criteria: 25 to 32 years

 Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, responsible, detail-focused, and committed to

financial accuracy with a proactive and self-starter approach
