Role Overview: As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing our sales pipeline, from prospecting new clients to maximizing revenue from existing channels. Additionally, you will develop strategies to enhance our closing percentages, understand customer needs, and deliver compelling offers that drive business success. This position is meant for someone who has a passion for fast growing early-stage startups and can be a Swiss army knife of sorts. This is the perfect time to join the Approvely team and be able to carve their own team and path as we grow. Requirements Responsibilities: Meet sales quotas and exceed revenue targets. Oversee and nurture the sales pipeline, encompassing new and outbound initiatives, while also optimizing revenue generation from both partner and client channels. Develop and implement strategies to improve closing percentages and drive revenue growth. Understand the needs of our customers and tailor solutions to meet their requirements effectively. Attend in-person sales planning / training days up to three times per week for the first 90 days and up to twice per week afterwards. Attend trade shows and industry events to network, generate leads, and represent the company's brand (approximately 6 per year). Attend in-person team strategy and training sessions (approximately 6 times per year). Work collaboratively in a remote, high-performance team environment to drive results and exceed sales targets. Utilize your background in B2B sales within the gaming and/or payments industry to leverage industry knowledge and expertise in sales negotiations and deal closures. Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new product developments within the gaming and payments industry. Report findings to management and provide recommendations on innovative product solutions and enhancements to meet evolving client needs and stay ahead of competitors. Keep competitive research on any threats to the company in the industry and propose proactive strategies to mitigate risks and maintain our competitive edge. Continuously monitor and evaluate market dynamics, customer feedback, and industry regulations to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of B2B direct sales experience. Demonstrate ability to communicate over the phone and drive sales in a telesales and remote sales environment Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly within the gaming and/or payments industry. Ability to self-generate business through networking, referrals, and other innovative methods. Experience in phone sales with a demonstrated ability to close deals over the phone. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to different projects and capacities within a fast-paced startup environment. Willingness to collaborate with team members from various departments to achieve company goals. Ability to thrive in a small team setting with a "can-do" attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork. The ability to work remotely and independently while driving results in a high performance team environment. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel periodically for team training and industry events. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused individual.
